In the midst of London Fashion Week, professional doodler Hattie Stewarts cheeky aesthetic was adding to the excitement of the city, with her latest collaboration plastered across the sides of black cabs, playfully decorating the city streets.
As of late, Hattie Stewart has collaborated with MAC cosmetics to create 33 artworks celebrating the new MAC AW16 fashion campaign. Due to the fact MAC sponsors 33 fashion weeks worldwide, Stewart is in the progress of creating an artwork for each city. Currently two illustrations have been published, one for New York and the second for London, both implement the enticing styling of Stewarts art, detailing the iconic motifs signature to her instantly recognisable aesthetic. So far the campaign illustrations are reminiscent of Stewarts Doodle-Bombing project where in which the covers of influential publications are transformed with the overlaying of 2D sketches. Unsurprisingly the colour palettes injected are strikingly vivid and complement both the cartoon aesthetic and the iridescent hues of the infamous MAC cosmetics perfectly.
