For the second year running East London Printmakers are presenting their annual show of brand new work at the Embassy Tea Gallery. Launching with a reception on the 15th September and exhibiting until 27th September 2015, this diverse display of styles and experimental prints have been produced over the past year by members for your enjoyment. This years submissions and exhibitors utilise most print mediums providing visitors with a vast display of printmaking possibilities.
After recently expanding their studio and introducing a fantastic range of new equipment, its clear to see their members have made the most of it! The submitted works range from the imagined and intricate worlds of Jamie Temple and Belinda Chen, to the more fragmented and graphic cityscapes of Heather Fahy. Other works deal with more abstract forms, such as the colourful gestural drawings of Judith Symons or the linear works of Yann Brien. What these artists have in common is a passion for the possibilities afforded by print.
But that isnt it
on Friday 25th September, Jairo Zaldua and Nicola Green will be holding screen printing workshops where youll have the chance to design, print and take away your own screen print. It’s a win win in our eyes.
