Ever embedding the playful use of narrative into his creations, Luca Di Battista, the freelance Illustrator and Graphic Designer situated in Berlin has recently unveiled his latest text and illustrations in the form of a children’s book entitled Che Spavento – Oh Schreck! The continuing of his 2D aesthetic is ever apparent, as Biagio, the protagonist, pursues a journey through the rich textured landscape while painted in a pale pink, beautifully juxtaposed against the dark enveloping palette which consumes the majority of the narrative.
