Nadine Geopfert examines the natural form that garments take once they leave the body in her recent project titled “THE GARMENTS MAY VARY”. She was intrigued by the lines and shapes of a stranded shirt or crinkled pair of jeans negligently tossed on the floor after usage and further anaylzed the contours of these garments.
Geopfert reveals the change in form of garments through a collection of textiles: A memory foam pullover represents volume, the spectral jacket changes color when crumpled, and an ultra-modern liquid jacket illustrates a change in motif or pattern.
