American illustrator, musician, animator, printmaker, textile designer and general creative influence ‘Grande Dame’ now resides in Hastings, and is currently the star of a small, trippy, surprising exhibition at Ink’d gallery in Brighton. Everything you see is fantastically printed, illustrated and designed by Grande Dame, from the wallpaper and the curtains to the framed artwork, the candles and the vinyl on the record player. Closing on the 30th of November, get down soon or miss the rednecks, skeletons, comics, hindu gods and corn on the cobs.
