The Art Socks Photo Series by Kate Brien

You probably think of an awkward look and a real no-no when you hear people want to combine socks with sandals. But stylist and curator Kate Brien of View From The Topp and photographer David Kitz have been working together and recently they have created a series of gorgeous photographs depicting art socks illustrated by the world’s art legends. From Mona Lisa, self-portrait of Frida Kahlo, to Munch’s The Scream, Brien has paired socks, available for purchase via The Sock Drawer, with open-toed sandals from her personal collection.
