Situated in a sunny seaside studio in Brighton, self confessed colour lover HelloMarine embeds her admiration for print and pattern into her vibrant illustrations, embedding the perfect balance of bold and playful design, appealing to both adults and children alike. From prints to an exclusive Heals collection of cushions and covers, the delightful aesthetic is transferred exquisitely from the studio into the home, welcoming the most joyous of energies as the iconic colour palettes beautifully brighten up any room.
HelloMarine, the French illustrator and printmaker has been delving into the world of illustration for the last ten years, gaining an impressive clientele from Lacoste and Time Out to The NY Times, Penguin and Virgin due to her distinct styling, detailing vivid design with a daring boldness, enhancing the statement appeal of her prints once more.
Predominantly producing illustrative prints, the textile collection came to be when Heals collaborated with HelloMarine to create an exclusive collection for their spring/summer 16 range. From the small to the medium to the large, HelloMarine hopes to continue her experiments with scale and formats, leaving murals, window displays and installations left on her bucket list.
Come the 22nd September 2016, HelloMarine will be presenting a series of the furniture-turned-art Ernest Race chairs at Design Junction for London Design Week until the 25th, which were made in collaboration with renowned upholsterer Elizabeth Rose.
