Christopher Norris was born in Salem, MA, where he lived until moving to Florida at the age of 13. After graduating from Pinellas County Center for the Arts, he was a member of several punk bands, touring internationally. Because he was the “kid who could draw”, Norris began designing records for these and other bands, and to this day is closely associated with several major and independent label bands. In addition to his design work, he is known within creative circles as Steak Mtn., and has established a reputation for his unique gallows humor aesthetic, exhibiting his original artworks internationally.
