I recently came across the work of Los Angeles based multimedia artist, Leo Eguiarte and immediately fell in love. His psychedelic paintings explore power and spirituality through symbolic shapes and striking colour schemes. Leo bases his ideas around the concept of ‘holographic conjuration,’ the visual illusion our material desires hold over us. His neon futurescapes and alluring geometric creations hark to modern hyperrealism, simplified to a basic state that seeks to confront our human existence and question our ideals.
