Sanna has ventured in a new direction with her colourful totem prints titled Tonttu and Papatti. A celebration of her love of pattern, they are a pure expression of colour and form, creating joyful, totemic ‘essences’. Tonttu (the Finnish word for Elf) is a quirky, playful design in blues, greens, and purples; an odd quixotic character! Papatti (Finnish for firecracker) as its name suggests, is a hot, vibrant and fizzing entity in reds, yellows, and purples. In addition Sanna has also revisited her love of northern landscapes with a beautifully simple forest scene; a stand of fir and pine inhabited by woodland birds.
