Riccardo Nava is an Italian photographer now based in Berlin. ‘Oliver’ is his second funny book after his first book titled, ‘La Cuisine.’ In 2012 whilst looking around Mauerpark flea market of Berlin, he found a sealed box of photos which contained several photos of a dog and his owner. His process was to “select the pictures and keep just that ones of the dog and creating a story based on funny dog with human behaviour and, at the same time, a sad story of loneliness.” The book is limited to 50 copies with a poster, printed digitally in collaboration with Aalphabet.
