Mark Frendo’s latest project is a celebration of surveyed opinions of Donald Trump. Created in collaboration with his wife, Rachel, the A3 screen print includes some notable ‘facts’ about the former president whilst implementing Mark’s characteristic elements of humour, parody, and wordplay.
Their “extensive survey” (11 people) suggests that the man is very much disliked here in the UK. To bring together these survey results, the print began with Rachel composing the image and drawing the face, which Mark then prepped and printed. Trump’s body is taken from ‘Vaultboy’ from the ‘Fall Out’ video game; “as I expect there will be some form of fallout if Trump again becomes President”.
The piece was created by the pair as part of their application for the Good Things Happen to Bad People exhibition. Top Trumps Trump is printed in a limited edition of 20, on A3 310 gsm Southbank Smooth paper.
